Marco MT8 Water Boiler
The MT8 holds 8 litres at temperature and takes up exactly the same counter width as the smaller MT4 – it is simply taller. If counter space is tight but you need a bigger buffer for a lunch rush, that trade is usually the right one to make.
Eight litres of immediate draw-off covers roughly forty cups back to back before the boiler is working to catch up, with 28 litres an hour of recovery behind it. It is the middle of the MT range and the size most cafés settle on.
Key features
- Step-Fill refill – refills in short controlled bursts rather than all at once, so cold incoming water does not drop the tank temperature mid-service. Switch to continuous fill when you need volume back faster.
- Live temperature display – shows the actual tank temperature, so you know it is ready rather than guessing.
- Insulated stainless steel tank – holds heat between draws, which keeps the element off and the running cost down.
- 238mm tap-to-tray clearance – takes tall takeaway cups and pouring kettles without tilting.
- Removable drip tray – lifts out for cleaning.
- Hands-free urn tap adapter compatible – Marco part 2100500, sold separately.

Installation
The MT8 is plumbed in and needs a 3/4″ BSP cold feed and a 13A supply. We recommend fitting a water filter on the incoming supply, particularly in hard water areas around the South East, as scale is the main thing that shortens a boiler’s life. Marco also make a filtered version of this boiler if you would rather have it built in – call us on 0800 442299 and we will price it.
