Puqpress Bracket for M3, M4 and M5 Tampers

The Puqpress Bracket is a steel frame that fits over a Puqpress M3, M4 or M5 tamper so that a grinder other than the one it was made for can stand on it. Choose the bracket for the tamper you own, in Black or White to match.

How Puqpress M-series tampers work

Puqpress M-series tampers sit underneath the grinder rather than next to it. The top of each tamper is shaped to match the base of one particular grinder, so the grinder stands on the tamper and the portafilter is filled from the grinder spout and tamped in the same spot. That is what saves the counter space. It also means that, as standard, each M-series tamper only fits the grinder it was made for:

• M2: Victoria Arduino and Nuova Simonelli Mythos One and Mythos II
• M3: Mahlkönig E65S and E65S GbW
• M4: Fiorenzato F64 and F83
• M5: Mahlkönig E80S and E80S GbW
• M6: Victoria Arduino Mythos MY75 and MY85

If you have, or move to, a different grinder, you do not need a new tamper. You add a Uniplate (for the M2 and M6) or a Bracket (for the M3, M4 and M5), which gives the tamper a universal top that other grinders can sit on.

What the Bracket does

The M3, M4 and M5 are taller, narrower tampers, so a flat plate is not enough to carry a grinder. The Bracket is a heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame that stands over the tamper and gives it a wide, level top. The grinder sits on the frame directly above the tamper’s portafilter cradle, so the portafilter still goes from spout to tamp in one movement. Vents in the sides keep air moving round the tamper motor, and it fits in a few minutes without tools or any change to the tamper or grinder.

Which one do I need?

• M3 Bracket, for a Puqpress M3. Fits Mazzer Super Jolly, Major and Kony; Macap M2, M4 and MXD; Ceado E5, E6, E7 and E37.
• M4 Bracket, for a Puqpress M4. Fits Nuova Simonelli MDJ; Macap M2, M4 and MXD; Ceado E5, E6, E7 and E37.
• M5 Bracket, for a Puqpress M5. Fits Mazzer Robur and Kold and other large-footprint grinders.

Pick by the tamper, not the grinder. Other grinders with a similar base will often fit too. If your tamper is an M2 or M6 you need a Puqpress Uniplate instead. If you are not sure whether your grinder will fit, contact us with the model before ordering.
