Pumps & Water Containers

Not every site has a mains water connection where the machine needs to be — mobile catering, pop-ups, market stalls and temporary installs all need water brought to the machine instead.

A water container plus a 12 volt submersible pump is the standard solution. The pump sits in the container and feeds the machine at working pressure, running off a leisure battery or 12V supply. It is the same arrangement used in horseboxes and catering trailers.

Two practical points. Use a food-grade container and keep it for water only. And fit a filter between pump and machine — container water is no cleaner than mains and your boiler will scale just the same.
