Commercial Coffee Machines
About Commercial Coffee Machines
A commercial coffee machine has to do one thing above everything else: make the same drink at eight in the morning as it does at four in the afternoon, without anyone standing over it. The machines in this range are the ones we supply, install and service for cafés, offices, hotels and hospitality sites across the UK, and they fall into three broad groups.
Traditional espresso machines are for sites with a trained barista and a drinks menu worth the effort. We stock Sanremo, Iberital, Crem, Bezzera, Fracino and Elektra, from compact 1 group machines through 2 group and 3 group and larger units for high-volume service. Group count is a question of how many drinks you need in your busiest half hour, not how big the room is — most cafés are better served by a well-specified 2 group than an underused 3 group. The full range sits under traditional espresso machines.
Commercial bean to cup machines suit offices, workplaces and self-serve settings where nobody is behind the machine. Jura Professional, Schaerer and Eversys models grind, brew and texture milk at the touch of a button, so the skill sits in the machine rather than the person using it. Browse the bean to cup range, or see machines with an integrated grinder if you want fresh grinding without a separate unit.
Vending, instant and bulk brewing covers unattended sites, staff rooms and reception areas where throughput matters more than provenance. Our coffee vending machines are mostly Coffetek Vitro. Where you are serving meetings, canteens or events in volume, filter and bulk brewers are usually the cheaper way to do it than anything with a group head.
What does a commercial coffee machine cost? More than anything it depends on drinks per day rather than the badge on the front. Many of these machines can be bought outright or leased, which spreads the cost over the life of the machine — if you are kitting out a workplace, our office coffee machines page explains how buying and leasing compare. We also carry refurbished coffee machines, a sensible route to a proper commercial specification at a lower price. And if the grinder matters as much as the machine — on espresso it usually matters more — our coffee grinders are listed separately.
All prices are shown ex VAT. If you would rather talk it through than work from a spec sheet, call us on 0800 442299. We have been supplying and servicing coffee machines since 1993, and we can usually tell you in a few minutes whether a machine suits your site.
