Group count is a question of how many drinks you need in your busiest half hour, not how big the room is — most cafés are better served by a well-specified 2 group than an underused 3 group. Commercial bean to cup machines suit offices, workplaces and self-serve settings where nobody is behind the machine. Jura Professional, Schaerer and Eversys models grind, brew and texture milk at the touch of a button, so the skill sits in the machine rather than the person using it. Vending, instant and bulk brewing covers unattended sites, staff rooms and reception areas where throughput matters more than provenance. Our coffee vending machines are mostly Coffetek Vitro. Where you are serving meetings, canteens or events in volume, filter and bulk brewers are usually the cheaper way to do it than anything with a group head.
What does a commercial coffee machine cost? More than anything it depends on drinks per day rather than the badge on the front.
