How do you store Arabica coffee beans?

Coffee Arabica beans should be stored in sealed, airtight containers away from direct sunlight. Coffee beans can keep for a year in a sealed container and up to a month after they’ve been opened. While Arabica coffee beans don’t go off, they will grow stale and lose their flavour and aroma over time.

You can buy UK Arabica coffee beans in 500g and 1kg bags. You can buy 5 or 10 cases at a time, or half a pallet (40 cases) and a pallet (80 cases). It’s better value to bulk-buy 100% Arabica coffee beans than buy them in smaller batches.

The Arabica coffee bean grows well in tropical countries close to the equator. They do particularly well in Ethiopia, India, Guatemala, Colombia and Brazil. Arabica coffee plants are typically grown at higher altitudes, between 2,000 and 6,000 feet, in regions with plenty of rainfall.
