Cup choice comes down to one question: how long will someone hold it, and how hot is what is in it?
Single wall is cheapest and right for cold drinks and in-house service, but needs a sleeve for a hot takeaway. Double wall is the commercial default — insulated enough for hot drinks with no sleeve, at a sensible price. Triple wall ripple is the premium option where the cup is part of how you present the drink.
Most sites do best with double wall for hot and single wall for cold, and skip triple wall unless the presentation matters commercially.
