A whole café, shrunk into a box
Flying Turtle Specialty is a fully automated robotic barista, designed by an award-winning Italian studio honoured with multiple Red Dot Design Awards. It does what normally takes a coffee shop, a bubble tea bar and a smoothie counter — from less than one square metre of floor space.
Customers order on a large touch screen, engineer their perfect drink, and watch it made fresh in front of them. No baristas, no rota, no fit-out — and it blends into refined spaces rather than shouting over them.
- Only the best ingredients, no shortcuts — handpicked single origin Arabica, premium Uji and Nishio matcha, rich cocoa and pure milk. No creamers, ever.
- Hyper-personalisation — size, sweetness and sweetener (sugar, honey, stevia or zero-calorie syrups), bean origin, intensity, and classic dairy or oat milk.
- Barista-level engineering — precise tamping pressure, stable water temperature and AI-measured recipes deliver the same perfect cup, every time.
- Obsessive hygiene — RO drinking water passed through a filter and UV steriliser, ice made inside the machine, and the mixing unit flushed with high-pressure boiling water after every single cup.
- Genuinely unattended — maintenance takes under 45 minutes roughly every 390 cups. Seven times more efficient than the closest competitor.

Eight menus in one machine
This isn't a vending machine menu — it's a café menu, a bubble tea menu, a dessert bar and a gym fridge all at once. Pick a category, then tap any drink card for full nutrition and allergen info.
Proper specialty coffee from handpicked single origin beans: a soft, elegant Geisha from El Diviso, Colombia; a warm, whisky-like Honduras Blend; and a sweet, dessert-like Brazil Lao natural. Precise tamping, stable water temperature and AI-measured recipes in every cup — hot, iced or blended into a frappe.
The section that turns heads: authentic Thai milk tea, fragrant jasmine brews, lychee and peach infusions, and signatures like the Dark Thai Caramel and Thai Jasmine Bloom. A curated selection for every taste — whether they're starting their tea journey or a seasoned connoisseur.
Real Japanese matcha, two ways: bold, umami-rich Yabukita from the historic tea fields of Uji, Kyoto, and a smooth, nutty Nishio blend of Samidori, Okumidori and Yabukita. Straight, as lattes, or in combinations you'd queue for in Soho — strawberry matcha, yuzu matcha, espresso matcha, matcha limenade.
The comfort menu, built on rich cocoa and 100% pure cow's milk — no creamers, no shortcuts. Proper hot chocolate, caramel milk, strawberry milk, vanilla and coconut blends. All available iced or as a frappe when the sun's out, and all with an oat option.
100% whey protein concentrate, two ways. Pure Whey Protein is protein in its cleanest form — no flavour, no syrup, no sugar, made for people who care about what goes in. The Whey Protein Treats blend it into signature drinks that taste like a reward, not a chore. The category gyms and leisure centres ask about first.
Dessert, in a cup, from a machine. The Oreo Volcano. The Biscoff Volcano. Strawberry cheesecake, black forest, apple pie crumble. These are the drinks that end up on social media — and bring their followers to your site.
Turtle Power — the house energy range, straight or flavoured with matcha, lychee, peach, yuzu, strawberry, coconut, vanilla or caramel. All allergen-free, all under 190 kcal. Made for forecourts, transport hubs and anywhere people arrive tired.
Freshly carbonated sparkling drinks — yuzu, lychee, peach, strawberry, pink limeade — plus Pepsi Max with a twist (caramel, coconut, lychee, strawberry, yuzu). All allergen-free, most under 170 kcal.
Values per standard serve at default sweetness. Shared equipment is used for drinks that may contain milk, soy, wheat and gluten — not suitable for customers with severe allergies. “Halal Suitable” meets Halal requirements by ingredients without formal certification. Full nutrition data is shown on-screen before ordering.
Every drink, engineered to taste
The touch screen doesn't just take orders — it lets every customer engineer their perfect drink. Size, sweetness and sweetener (sugar, honey, stevia or zero-calorie syrups), bean origin, intensity, dairy or oat. Try the idea for yourself:
Your order: Hot Coffee Latte, regular sweetness
Only the best ingredients, no shortcuts
Handpicked single origin Arabica, premium Japanese matcha, rich cocoa and pure milk — backed by ingredients from some of the most respected suppliers in the world. No creamers. Just pure quality in every cup.
The menu is Halal certified by an accredited certification body, with a small number of drinks Halal suitable by ingredients.
Every milky drink has an oat milk version — plant-based, gentle on digestion, and it blends beautifully with coffee and tea.
Zero-calorie syrups and stevia let customers keep the flavour without the worry — plus drinks from a single calorie.
Full nutrition and allergen information is published for every single drink and shown on screen before ordering.
Built for anywhere people wait, work or work out
Designed by an award-winning Italian studio and fully customisable to suit any interior, Flying Turtle enhances a space without overpowering it. If your site has footfall and a spare square metre, it can become the most popular corner of the building:

Schools, colleges & universities
Halal certified, allergen-labelled and full of low-sugar options — a drinks offer parents and campuses can say yes to.

Petrol stations & transport hubs
Barista coffee and energy drinks at 3am, with no staff on the clock. Made for forecourts, stations and park & rides.

Offices & workplaces
A café-grade perk in lobbies, break areas and co-working spaces — without hiring a barista.

Factories & industrial estates
Round-the-clock shifts deserve round-the-clock drinks. Protein shakes and proper coffee for every shift pattern.

Hospitals & healthcare
For staff on nights and families in waiting rooms — quality drinks when the canteen shut hours ago.

Shopping centres & attractions
High-footfall retail is where it shines — and the dessert drinks alone pull crowds (and their cameras).

Hotels & leisure
Lobbies, lounges, gyms or poolside — 24/7 guest service without the room-service rota.

Student & residential buildings
Lobbies, mailrooms and common areas — an amenity residents use every single day.
Gym? Holiday park? Cinema? Somewhere we haven't thought of? — if the footfall is there, we're interested.

Enquiring takes two minutes
Whether you want a machine for your site, want to know the numbers, or are just curious whether your location would suit — the process starts with the short form below. Installation itself is effortless: all it needs is a 100 × 75 cm footprint, a dedicated power supply and 25 cm of breathing room.
- Send an enquiry — tell us your location type and postcode. That's genuinely all we need to start.
- We come back to you — a real person calls or emails to talk through your site, your visitors and what you're after.
- Site assessment — we confirm space, power and positioning, and answer every question you've got.
- Your machine arrives — installed, configured and backed by ongoing support from day one.
The things everyone asks
How much space does the machine actually need?
A minimum footprint of 100 × 75 cm and 190 cm of height — less than one square metre of floor. It needs at least 25 cm clearance from walls for ventilation and a dedicated power supply on a 16A breaker. We confirm everything at the site assessment.
Does it need staff to run it?
No. It's a fully unattended robotic barista — customers order and pay at the machine, drinks are made automatically, and it operates around the clock. Scheduled maintenance takes under 45 minutes roughly every 390 cups, which makes it seven times more efficient than the closest competitor.
How is it kept clean?
Obsessively. Every cup is brewed with RO (reverse osmosis) drinking water that's passed through a filter and UV steriliser. Ice is made inside the machine, eliminating contamination, and the mixing unit is cleaned with high-pressure boiling water after every single drink served.
What's on the menu?
Over 180 drinks across eight families: specialty coffee from single origin beans (Geisha Colombia El Diviso, Honduras Blend, Brazil Lao), Thai and jasmine teas, premium Uji and Nishio matcha, milk and cocoa drinks, whey protein shakes, dessert drinks, the Turtle Power energy range, and freshly carbonated sodas. Most drinks come hot, iced or as a frappe, and everything milky has an oat option.
What about allergens and dietary requirements?
Full nutrition and allergen information is published for every drink and shown on screen before ordering. The menu is Halal certified, oat milk covers dairy-free customers, and zero-calorie syrups, stevia and honey give sugar-conscious customers real choices. One honest caveat: shared equipment means it isn't suitable for customers with severe allergies.
What kind of locations are you looking for?
Anywhere with consistent footfall: petrol stations, schools and universities, offices, gyms, hospitals, hotels, shopping centres, transport hubs, factories, student accommodation and more. If you're not sure your site qualifies, enquire anyway — the form takes two minutes and we'll give you a straight answer.
What happens after I send the form?
A member of the UK team gets back to you to talk through your site and what you're looking for, followed by a site assessment if it's a good fit. No obligation at any point — the enquiry is a conversation, not a contract.
Is it available across the whole UK?
Enquiries are open UK-wide from our head office in Eastbourne, East Sussex. Pop your postcode in the form and we'll confirm availability for your area when we get in touch. If you'd rather talk it through, call 0800 442299.
Curious what Flying Turtle could do for your space?
Tell us where you are and what kind of location you run — we'll come back to you with whether it's a fit and what happens next. Two minutes, no obligation.
