Tea Temples

A tea temple is a pyramid-shaped mesh bag holding whole leaf rather than the broken dust in a standard bag. The extra room lets the leaf actually unfurl, which is most of the difference between a decent cup and a bitter one.

Our Teapigs range covers Everyday Brew for a proper builder’s cup, Mao Feng Green Tea, Peppermint Leaves and Chamomile Flowers among others.

They cost more per serve than a bag, so use them where the customer sees the packaging — table service, hotel rooms, meeting rooms — rather than in a self-serve staff kitchen where nobody is looking.
