The Flying Turtle Specialty is a fully automated robotic barista that makes more than 500 drinks to order across nine menus: specialty coffee, Japanese matcha, Thai and black teas, chocolate, milk drinks, frappés and dessert drinks, protein shakes, freshly carbonated sodas and slushies. Customers order and customise on a large touch screen, pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, then watch the drink being made. It runs fully self-serve from a footprint of one metre by 0.85, and can keep serving beyond café hours where site access allows.
It is built for sites with steady footfall but no room, staff or budget for a café counter: offices, universities and schools, hospitals and waiting areas, gyms and leisure centres, hotels, shopping centres, forecourts and transport hubs, factories and student accommodation. The cabinet was designed by an Italian studio with several Red Dot Design Awards to its name and can be finished to suit the space. Flying Turtle is the international brand of TAO BIN; across the combined global network more than 10,000 machines have served over 300 million drinks.

Available from ADS Coffee Supplies
ADS Coffee Supplies hosts and maintains Flying Turtle machines across the UK from our head office in Eastbourne. You provide the space and electricity; we look after the machine, the ingredients and the service. Locations expecting 30 or more drinks a day are typically offered a share of drink sales, while quieter sites may suit rent-free placement or a drink-voucher arrangement — every proposal is tailored after a site assessment. If you’d rather own a machine outright, take a look at our bean to cup coffee machines or the rest of our coffee stations. To talk about your site, call 0800 442299.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy a Flying Turtle outright?
No. Flying Turtle machines are hosted on your site rather than sold, and every one is fully maintained by us for as long as it’s with you — refills, cleaning, maintenance and support — so there’s nothing for your team to arrange.
Why is there no fixed price shown?
Because the arrangement depends on the site. Locations with expected demand of 30 or more drinks a day are typically offered a share of drink sales; quieter sites may suit rent-free placement or a drink-voucher arrangement. Tell us your location type and postcode and we’ll come back with a tailored proposal after a site assessment. There’s no obligation.
How much space and power does it need?
A footprint of 1.00 m by 0.85 m and 1.95 m of height, with roughly 25 cm of clearance behind for ventilation and servicing. It runs from one standard UK electrical outlet (230 V, 13 A). A water supply and wastewater outlet are preferred but both are optional. We confirm all of this at the site assessment.
Does it need staff to run it?
No. Customers order on the touch screen and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and drinks are made automatically. If you’d rather take payment at your own till, the machine can print a ticket instead. Refills, cleaning and maintenance are handled by us.
Is it suitable for customers with dietary requirements?
Full nutrition — energy, sugars, protein, salt and caffeine — is published for every drink, per serving and per 100 g, and shown on screen before ordering. Oat milk is vegan and gluten free, zero-calorie stevia can replace sugar, and drinks start from 0 kcal. For allergen information, ask us and we’ll provide it for the drinks you’re interested in.
Is it available in my area?
Enquiries are open UK-wide, with availability subject to a site assessment and service coverage. Check your postcode on our Flying Turtle page — if we’re not in your area yet, you can join the waitlist and we’ll be in touch as soon as we are.
