Puqpress M2 Automatic Tamper for Mythos Grinders

The Puqpress M2 is an integrated automatic tamper that mounts directly under the Victoria Arduino and Nuova Simonelli Mythos and Mythos II grinders. Grind straight into the portafilter and tamp in the same spot, which saves counter space and a step in the workflow.

Puqpress tamps every portafilter flat and level at the same pressure, shot after shot, which removes the biggest variable in espresso prep and takes the strain off baristas’ wrists and shoulders over a long shift. Set the pressure once and the result is the same whoever is on the machine.

Pressure is adjustable from 5 to 30kg in 1kg steps with five tamping profiles: Speedy, Precision, Hulk, Soft and Single. It is built for mid to high-volume bars and rated for more than 10kg of coffee a week. The optional Uniplate M2 adapts it to other grinders if your setup changes.

Using the Puqpress M2 with a different grinder

The M2 sits underneath the grinder and its top is shaped to fit the Victoria Arduino and Nuova Simonelli Mythos One and Mythos II, so as standard it only works with those grinders. If you have, or later move to, a different grinder you do not need a new tamper. Add the Puqpress M2 Uniplate, a thin steel plate that fits on top of the tamper so Anfim, Markibar, Slingshot and other grinders can sit on it. The tamper itself stays the same.
