Flavoured Syrups

Flavoured syrups are the highest-margin addition to a coffee menu. A pump adds roughly 8–10ml to a drink and typically supports a 40–60p uplift, which is why almost every chain offers them.

Start with three: Caramel, Vanilla and Hazelnut cover the overwhelming majority of what customers ask for. Add a fourth only when you can see it selling. Our Simply range covers those plus seasonal and less common flavours.

Buy pumps at the same time — free-pouring is inconsistent and wastes far more syrup than the pump costs. A 1 litre bottle gives roughly 100–125 pumped servings.
