Camomile Tea
About Camomile Tea
Camomile is the one herbal infusion almost every venue should carry. It is naturally caffeine-free, it is what people ask for in the evening or when they are avoiding caffeine, and going without it means turning away a sale you could have had for pennies.
We stock two formats. Birchall Camomile plant-based enveloped tea bags come individually wrapped, which suits table service and hotel rooms where presentation and hygiene matter. Teapigs Chamomile Flowers tea temples use whole flower heads in a mesh temple — noticeably better in the cup and priced accordingly.
Brew hotter and longer than black tea: full boiling water, four to five minutes. Underbrewed camomile tastes of very little, which is why people think they dislike it.
