The Bezzera BZ10 PM is a practical and economical 1-group traditional espresso machine, designed to operate independently without requiring a fixed water supply connection — the boiler system uses a heat exchanger, so the machine works from its own water tank rather than needing a mains plumbing point. This makes it a strong fit for venues without easy access to a water line, or for events and pop-ups where a permanent installation isn’t practical.
Despite the compact 1-group format, the BZ10 is built to produce cappuccinos, coffee and tea for larger groups, with the group head fitted with two cartridge heating elements controlled by a thermostat for consistent shot-to-shot temperature. The PM designation refers to the pump and valve configuration: it operates with a vibration pump and delivery groups equipped with solenoid valves, controlled by a simple push-button — press once to start the pump and open the solenoid valve, press again to stop the flow. This makes operation straightforward even for staff without extensive barista training.
An automatic boiler water supply keeps the boiler topped up during service, and an automatic resistance shutdown protects the heating element if water runs low — a useful safeguard against accidental damage from running dry.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Bezzera BZ10 need to be plumbed into a water line?
No — the BZ10 uses a heat exchanger boiler system and runs from its own 3L water tank, so it doesn’t require a fixed mains water connection. This makes it suitable for venues without easy plumbing access.
What does the “PM” in Bezzera BZ10 PM mean?
PM refers to the pump and valve configuration — this variant uses a vibration pump with solenoid valve-controlled delivery groups, operated by a simple push-button per group.
Is the Bezzera BZ10 suitable for high-volume venues?
It’s a 1-group machine designed for cappuccinos, coffee and tea for larger groups within that single-group capacity — well suited to smaller cafés, offices, or venues with moderate throughput. For higher-volume sites, contact us to discuss a multi-group alternative such as the Bezzera Aria.
