Schaerer Milkpure Powder: milk system cleaning powder

Milkpure Powder is Schaerer’s own cleaning agent for the milk system on its bean to cup coffee machines. It is the powder the machine asks for when you run the automatic milk system clean. It dissolves milk fat and protein residue from the milk lines, foamer and outlet, so your cappuccinos and lattes keep tasting as they should and the milk system stays hygienic between service visits.

Each box holds 50 single-dose sachets of 10 g, enough for 50 cleaning cycles. Schaerer’s cleaning schedule calls for a milk system clean every day on machines running fresh milk, so one box covers roughly seven weeks of daily cleaning on a single machine.

How it is used

• Start the cleaning programme on the machine’s touchscreen and follow the on-screen prompts.
• Empty one sachet into the cleaning container and add water as the machine instructs.
• The machine draws the solution through the milk system and then rinses with fresh water. Run together with the Coffeepure tablet clean for the brewing unit, the whole programme takes around 15 to 20 minutes.
• Take sachets from the bottom of the box in order. The box is a dispenser and the alkaline and acid sachets are packed in the sequence the cleaning programme expects, so you do not have to think about which one is due.

For Schaerer fully automatic coffee machines with a fresh milk system, including the Coffee Soul range. Always use the cleaning agents specified in your machine’s operating manual. Schaerer approves its own Milkpure and Coffeepure products for its machines, and using other chemicals can affect your warranty.
